Doo & Scott, yes, you can check any other bottle of alcohol as permitted by state laws. Some states do not allow alcohol over 40% abv to be checked. We've checked cases and cases of wine, plus rum and Bourbon in The Wine Check!

Good idea for us to take along to Wine Fests. Also, is it legal to transport other bottles of liquor in this case other than wine on plane? This would work bring tequila, kahlua, etc home from Mexico, etc..
